Should i cut these sprouts?

Just got my rhizomes, plan to plant them today or tomorrow. Should I trim off the little shoots sprouting out, or leave them? I live in northeast florida.

Its important that you dont trim them. You need to let all of those sprouts grow, the first year, to help establish a strong root system.

Dont trim them off they will become you're future bines. If the long ones dont make it more will come behind I can already see more.
