My wife gave me a kit for christmas and is giving me some books on brewing for my birthday this saturday. I'll be starting a brew soon and am looking forward to it. Don't know what else to say til I get in there and start reading the forums. Looking forward to learning about brewing.

Sorry,
I was at work when I logged in last time. I'm from San Diego and am particularly partial to the west coast IPA from green flash brewery and some of the seasonals around christmas time. Deathly pale ale...etc.
I'm looking to brew a good IPA or a bit more hoppy pale ale.
