I am very excited that I started brewing mead...I have another quick question...I noticed that the honey in my jug has settled to the bottom...is this normal?

Hopefully you take a while to mix it properly in warm water so you can get accurate gravity readings, but in my experience when this happens it will be fine as long as fermentation kicks off successfully, which will churn the must enough to mix everything,

Man...I have 2 batches fermenting, one is doing great and the other one I am having problems with...the batch I am having problems with had yeast get up into the air lock...I cleaned it out, resanitized it, now today the water is cloudy again and it actually bubbling out of the airlock...does anyone have any suggestion...I am going to reclean the airlock...should I dump a little bit out?
