Interesting recipe - I've never added a small % of pilsner to a grain bill, I've always used it as the main base malt or not at all, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Let us know!

I moved this from the recipe database to the recipe/ingredients forum - the database is for tried-and-true recipes that you want to share with other members, since you said you hadn't tried it yet, I moved it. After you try it and refine the recipe and decide its one of your go-to recipes, please feel free to add it to the database.

Let us know how it turned out!

It turned out pretty damn good, easily the best IPA I have made. It has a juicy citrusy quality with a great hoppy bouquet. The little bit of caramel added really helps balance out the 98 IBUs and it is surprisingly drinkable, smooth and dry. First IPA I can say I am truly proud of.
