I've been brewing for eight months now and this is my first self-made recipe, not sure how it will turn out, it's mostly an experiment. I'm shooting for an American red, what do you guys think ?

It looks pretty good, will be mid-deep red for sure. I would probably switch the cascade and horizon, and shift the centennial later, but that's only because I've had better results that way. As far as bittering experiments I've done, I can't tell much difference with the middle additions or without (ibu compensated), so I tend to shift most hops to late additions.

I say go for it, you'll have an American red ready for Summer.

Thanks for the input guys! I actually made this recipe a couple weeks ago (i wanted to post this before the first batch but didnt get too so i figured better late than never) it tured out way dark brown so in my next batch im doing less of all the special malts to see how it turns out. I plan to mess with the hop schedule just to find out what the differences actually taste like.

It may lighten up a couple shades after clearing/conditioning.
