Seeking diagram for SYL-2352 as fermentation controller

I'm needing a ferm temp controller. I was planning to follow this instructional:

However, it uses a Auber SYL-2362a, and I have a spare Auber SYL-2352.

Does anybody have a diagram to use this controller as a fermentation fridge temp controller. I am oat concerned about short cycling of the compressor.

If this is not a good application for this controller, please advise and I will find another solution.

Marquez,

A few questions regarding your design:

1. Do you want to plug into the controller? As in toggle the power to the cord?
2. If not, what are you trying to turn on?

The SYL-2362a uses a RELAY output which is essentially a switch to enable the output of your fridge. The SYL-2352 is a model specific to driving an SSR with a 12VDC output. Hooking this directly to your compressor without a relay would not work.

You could put an SSR such as THIS ONE to control the fridge.

I have created a wiring schematic (attached) for general application. FYI, it is very helpful to use the manual

I have a left over SSR, as well as the needed devices for the build. My interest was to clone the functionality of the SYL-2362a build. In reviewing the manual I am concerned about short cycling the compressor on the build.

I just may need to grab a new controller that is a better fit for controlling a fridge.

I thought you may be able to overcome this by setting the cycle time. The 2352 only allows for 40seconds max.

I think gap control would be a better solution for you.
