Hi there.
OK Long story short, i was trying to bottle my batch of beer. It was i a 25l bucket, no tap, so i used a siphon tube - apart from the fact that this new one that arrived (Im at a flat at university - important) had a huge gash in the side and was useless.
So, instead, i poured, very messily, my beer into a sterilised 25l pressure barrel which does have a tap in order to bottle from it, unfortunately, a lot of sediment got mixed in. However, about 1/4 of the sediment was still solid at the bottom and a further 1/4 was left in the beer i did not transfer due to overcloudyness.

My question is, can i still bottle this? Im leaving at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon and i need to take some of this home bottled to be ready for a BBQ next week.

Go for it! Not ideal, but should work out fine. The thing that would concern me more than the sediment is the pouring into your barrel. The reason for siphoning is to "gently" transfer so you don't introduce excessive air into your beer.......

yeah :S
Ah well, ive bottled them now, can only hope for the best!
So gonna buy a vessel with a tap so i can just bottle from that!
