I just purchased a secondary regulator via ebay to use for my carbonation line. My question is that with the secondary regulator will it be able to pull pressure out of the kegs when carbonating? for example primary regulator set 35-40 psi, t splitter to carbonation line and secondary set at 10-12 psi serving pressure for kegs. The carbonation method is via a valve stem in a bottle cap with the valve stem removed to allow for direct flow with a ball valve for on/off. once the valve is opened will the gas come from the kegs first or does the regulator not allow that?
