Hi! I'll be doing a 5 gallon batch of pumpkin ale which I've heard due to all the pumpkin crud and stuff should use a secondary. Not sure why it can't sit on that stuff a couple weeks, but, my only 5 gallon fermenter will be tied up with another brew at that time. Can a 5 gal batch be secondary fermented in a 6 gal fermenter?
