I'm just wondering if I should secondary or leave for 3-4 weeks and bottle. If I were to do the latter and bottle from the primary, what would be the best way to proceed?

A long primary should be sufficient. After a month, make sure the FG is where you want it, and then rack into your bottling bucket WITH the priming sugar (boiled in some water for 10min) so that the wort swirls aroundthe bottom (coil the racking tubing a bit around the bottom of the bucket in the sugar. Then give it a couple gentle stirs to make sure it's 100% mixed in, and bottle from your bucket!

@ darksin - sounds just like my bottling procedure otherwise (just foregoing the secondary)
@jkaylor - Not the first time bottling, but the first time considering foregoing the secondary.

I'm just wondering if there are other tricks I should know about before proceeding that will help clear my beer up a bit, aviod off flavours, etc...
