I am getting ready to transfer my first brew from the primary fermenter into the secondary fementer (glass carboy). It has been in the primary for one week, so how long should it be in the secondary before I bottle it? Things I have read say two weeks but I am wondering if that is taking into account the one week that it was in the primary. Any suggestions??

No, it's 1-2-3. At least a week to ferment, two in the clearing tank, three in the bottle.
