Scrubbies and Stainless

When I got my Stout Kettles they suggested a cleaning with BKF. They told me NOT to use green 3m scrubbies. There was a mention of another kind of scrubbies but I don't remember what they were.

Has anyone tried using these? They say that they are good with SS.

Also, is there a better type of BKF to buy? Or the regular powder kind? It looks like there are several kinds.
