Was at a clients house today going over a future job when I noticed she had a garden out back with some tall poles. Immediately I asked if those were for hops to which she replied yes, are you a brewer? I told her that I was just about to order my rhizomes and she said don't pay for root stock , go dig up as much as you want. Ding ding ding!!!!! I asked if she knew the variety and she proceeded to break out a plant location drawing of her garden. She drew this up as to not forget what was in there. Perfect! She had Cascade, Nugget, and a variety she said she has had forever and goes crazy here locally, all about 10 years old, and produce massive amounts of cones she said. I ended up with 15 different root chunks with multiple nodes about 1' long each. They're already putting out vine about 8'' long on most of them so I gotta get my garden going. Just kinda fell in my lap. Love it when you get lucky. Cheers
