I'm not the best with introductions, as I much prefer to lurk instead of post. I'm in Sterling Heights, MI while my fiance is from Windsor, ON so our very small brewery is split between the two. (His parents do several demijohns a year of wine, they might be my future source of carboys etc.)
I started off with making infused liquors - vanilla bean, grapefruit, cinnamon coffee etc. (But that's another story) Due to a great friends home brew, or rather his mead as I am not a beer drinker, the idea of meads and ciders and creating them from scratch was so exciting/intriguing I had to try.
So my first batch of cider is fermenting away in my spare bedroom, and I'm looking for my next recipe to try.
