I did my first batch last September; I took a bomber from every batch and put it in a safe place thinking I'd have a collection of every brew I ever made. Well realizing how many batches I brew, I figured out this practice was unsustainable so I chilled the last bomber of my first batch down and popped the top last night.....

M*Fing gusher. All I wanted to do was say goodbye........

Haha...I did the same thing! At least, until my brother, by mistake, grabbed my last saved bottle from our first brew together and poured. Chunky. There were large, suspended, coagulated chunks. Really really nasty looking. Said it tasted fine though.

Guess not all beers are meant to be aged.

Still a nostalgic moment though, saying goodbye. Such a fun memory.

that sucks. i would recommend cold storage for anything you plan to keep a while, try to slow down the rate at which whatever bugs got in there turn it into a gusher.
