A recipe I plan on making calls for half pounds of a handful of specialty grains that I bought in one pound increments. Since i have twice the grain I need I figured I would make two batches. My question is:
Does anybody have experience using half a vile of yeast at a time? I plan on dumping half in a starter and closing up the other half and putting it in the fridge for probably 2 months. Is this a bad idea?
