saving and storing yeast??

Anyone got a good link for saving and storing yeast? I've been making brewhouse beer kits mostly and they come with generic coopers yeast which works okay but I'd like to actually use some higher end lager and ale yeast. The only problem is I'd have to mail order them at about 15 bucks each so I can't really justify that cost every batch. I'd need to recover yeast after a batch and store for maybe a month or so.
