I have permission to build a keggerator. SWMBO wants me to build a sanyo conversion, when all I asked for was a standard fridge in the garage conversion.

So my question: Does the 2 keg capacity of the popular Sanyo apply to pin lock kegs as well? I also have a very large CO2 tank...so my assumption would be external co2.

I'm doing my Sanyo 4912 conversion tonight w/pinlock kegs (2 different types), but w/5 lb CO2 tank. I can give you the exact internal measurements if that will help. The challenge will be the depth of the CO2 tank as you indicated...

One of my kegerators is a Sanyo with 2 pinlocks. I originally had a 25lb tank outside. I have since picked up a 5lb and put it inside. I didn't build a shelf, just bungee corded it in.
The two kegs are a real tight fit, but it's fine.

I just installed mine last night w/shelf, and the 5 lb tank w/dual regulator barely fit. Theres a few threads (do a search) regarding the Sanyo conversion and it seems like the consensus is the 10lb won't fit. I had to take the door molding off, and I'm doing the dry erase board replacement as suggested by others.
