Sanyo 4912 replacement?

I searched several threads but couldn't find a answer. What is the going mini-fridge that has taken over for the 4912? I am still thinking about a keezer, but want to check out all options. Thanks!

You can still find them at Amazon or at Fry's Electronics to name a couple of places. There is a Fry's in Wilsonville, Oregon. They have gone up in price though.

Looks like none in Wilsonville and Amazon wants $100 to ship. Any alternative models out in stores?

I got a like new 4912 on craigslist for $50 a few months ago.

I am about to pull the trigger on buying a mini fridge for a keg conversion. Before I drop $249 at Walmart for them to order me the Sanyo 4912M I want to make absolutely sure that this is the top fridge to get. I hear a lot of great things about it and there is an excellent video on youtube how to convert it but I also hear that the temperature control can be devistating. I have read that some of the fridges can't keep the correct temp. One moment it will be warmer and then the next it will be an ice box freezing everything.

Thoughts? Should I just buy it and start my masterpiece?
