I have a sanke keg setup. (2 kegs connectted to a single pressure regulator).

My couplers do not have a CO2 pressure release valve.

Is there a work around without having to disconnect the couplers from the kegs?

I am currently seating @ 30psi and want to balance back down to 12psi.

I am not sure if I understand your question exactly so im just taking a stab here.

If your at 30psi and you want to get to 12psi, I would turn the nob down on your regulator to decrease the flow (the pressure wont change at this moment) Then, go and purge the keg a few seconds. At this point the pressure will drop and you can adjust on the regulator nob again accordingly to get it to 12psi. Let me know if this is what you need or if its something different your asking.

Cheers!

The question is more about whether you can purge a sankey keg if your couplers do not have the CO2 release valve!?

To answer my own question:

1) Take the CO2 tubing off the CO2 inlet on the coupler.
2) Spray statsan on/around the CO2 inlet.
3) Spray starsan on the probe of a digital thermometer
4) Insert the probe through the CO2 inlet hole and push the CO2 seals gently
5) Keep pressing until the hissing from the CO2 coming out of the keg stops.

This method has worked for me and it could work for other (probably depending on the CO2 inlet and seals of their respective sanke couplers).

Any feedback is welcome/invited.
