I'm planning to keg my latest brew in two days. If I sterilize my kegs and equipment now, will they remain sterile until I keg the beer?

I routinely rinse my kegs w/ StarSan when I clean them immediately after use. I then deal w/ a quick burst of CO2 & store until needed. I don't sanitize again. I just purge w/ CO2 before filling.

A sanitized and sealed keg will stay sanitized internally. Anything exposed to the environment needs to be sanitized immediately before use. All kinds of wild yeast and bacterial floating around in the air.

Brew on :mug:

I store my kegs and fermenters with star san solution after I clean them. When I first add the solution to the kegs, they get rolled on the ground for a few minutes to increase contact of all surface area. When kegging day comes, I pour the solution into a bucket so I can sanitize hoses and other misc items, purge the keg with co2, and rack. This process has done me well so far.
