I came home and saw my airlock was full of beer, and the lid popped off, there was fermentation all over so I cleaned up the mess, but as I cleaned the lid I dipped it in Sanitizer and used my dish sponge to clean it, my question is how will this affect my batch, should I take the lid off and recreant it or is the damage already done, and continue

Probably will be fine. Beer is more resilient than people give it credit for. But just to clarify. You dipped the lid in sanitizer than washed off with dish sponge. Or dipped dish sponge in sanitizer then cleaned the lid. If the first I would've just cleaned lid then sanitized. Either way I think you'll be fine. Look into blowoff tubes for future batches to avoid exploding airlocks/fermenters.
