Safale 04 in a pumpkin ale?

Has anyone done this? I saw the Great Pumpkin ale kit on AIH on sale for $20. IT suggested two liquid yeast stains, but I have 04 harvested and they said both 04 and 05 would work, but the guy leaned towards 04. Any preference? Experience?

Either will work. In a pumpkit I would prefer 04 over 05.

Now I'll throw a third strain in the mix - WYeast 1098...

Either the 04 or the 1098 would be good imo. S04 is cheaper so that's still what I would use.

I just did 5 smash beers with S04 as an experiment. I think it would be good match for a Pumpkin Ale.

I've used 04 in my pumpkin beer and it works great
