I said if you had to chose, you should go to New Glory over T7. If he didn't have to chose he should go to both. Do you think that T7 > NG?you literally did

Maybe you should look into it, I never said DON'T go to T7, I said if you had to choose I would take NG over T7/Fieldwork.

Right? I don't get what bathroomlaughter is talking about, I think he just wanted to talk ****.And that's how I interpreted it, too, FWIW. Going to do my best to squeeze in all of them (Track 7, New Glory, Fieldwork). I've been told Urban Roots has good food and beer as well. That could be a dinner option one night.
I neither compared Track 7 to any other brewery
Better than most in the Sacramento area for sure but IMO New Glory has well passed up Track 7 as far as beer quality goes.
nor did I discourage jwacky from visiting New Glory or any other brewery.
IDK what Track 7 you have been to, but their beer is for sure not great to awesome.
Not sure why he is even battling, I never said in any of those not to go to T7. Just that other breweries in the area have surpassed them. OP himself even said that's how he understood it as well. Pathetic troll attempt, 1.5/10.Losing battle^^ So not worth the effort.
If New Glory is definitely worth getting to in the majority's opinion I'll definitely make it happen. From there it's just working my way back west, so it'll be a good starting point to the day. This is all assuming that these places will be open on Veteran's Day, which I am assuming they will be. If not, then it'll just rule a couple places out, no big deal.
New Glory is open on Mondays 12-9pm, so you are good to go on 11/12. Fieldwork & Cap Hop open as well. Urban Roots is closed on Mondays though.
Doubt this Stout will still be around by then, but a couple of interesting releases coming up this Friday 10/26 at New Glory.

So glad you enjoyed New Glory! I told you it was going to be ******* amazing!OK, so I got back last night from my Sacramento trip. The first day I did New Glory to Fieldwork to dinner across the street from Fieldwork at Paesano's to Fieldwork for a couple more beers.
The second day I only had time for Capital Hop Shop before meeting up with colleagues for dinner. My thoughts:
HOLY HELL is New Glory good. I was not expecting that at all. I tried most of the IPAs that were available to go (to see what I might want to bring back), and the King Size. King Size was OK but I was totally blown away with the IPAs, even the Triple that was on and that's a style I tend not to like. I brought back multiple 4pks of Greenergy, Galactus, and Mouth Party. I legit thought about skipping Fieldwork and just spending the entire night at New Glory to try even more of what they had on tap.
Fieldwork was as good as ever. I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple bottles remaining of the bottled sour, so I grabbed two of those right off the bat. Tried the Passion Fruit and PB&J Parfaits (crowler to go of the PB&J but more to share the novelty of it with friends here in San Diego; I thought the passion fruit was better), and a handful of IPAs. I'd initially intended to bring back multiple Fieldwork crowlers but realized I wouldn't have the room between all the New Glory cans and the Fieldwork bottles. Need to bring a bigger suitcase next time.
Capital Hop Shop: Couldn't spend as much time there as I'd have liked because they were kicking people out for the Moonraker dinner, but I did get to try some Moonraker beers, a couple Fieldwork IPAs that weren't on at the tasting room, and some Alvarado Street beers. Cool spot.
I can pretty safely say that I enjoyed my time at New Glory the most of these three places. Fieldwork is fine but a little pricey considering the 3oz pours of their tasters. New Glory is definitely a must stop and really glad y'all recommended it. Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed New Glory! I told you it was going to be ******* amazing!
If anything, you guys undersold it. Incredible beer. So many cans just sitting in the fridge, too... just because of the location, maybe? And literally just three people in it when I pulled up. Typically all bad signs, haha. Totally blown away by the place.

I think New Glory is the best brewery in Sacramento proper. They do hops, lagers and stouts very well.
Headed to South Lake Tahoe this weekend to try & escape that SMOKE. Any spots I should check out over there?
