After my last fiasco... I got a 5 gallon bucket of bakers molasses. $80 for 5 gallons. I traded labor for it. I think I came out ahead.
Anyway, started another batch. Between work and side jobs, I finally got back to it. I’m old and slow.
Back to the Pugirum recipe. It’s in my mechanical room at about 70*. My fermentation chamber has 2 5gal buckets of coconut ipa.

70 f will be fine, it may take a bit longer but will work off in due time.

I did one last year at 65 and it took 3 weeks to finish and it became infected. What ever it was helped it out and was one of my best to date.

What yeast did you use?

I used bread yeast. I forgot to take OG. It is still working. I’ll be patient. I may rig up a heat chamber.
Thanks for checking in on me.
