So I use a clamp to hold the hop sack on the side of the BK, & it has a rubber cover on it. While brewing a porter, itt fell in the boil... I got it out as quick as possible (it was at the end of the boil), but it was in there for awhile... So I know that rubber gaskets are used in weldless spigots, etc, so do you think the batch will still be ok?

I just tasted my hydrometer sample, & it tastes great. Not noticing any kind of plastic/rubber flavor. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Flavor is a different story, once the rubber bung fell in my carboy, whole batch tasted like a rubber band.

If you say it tastes great....brew on and enjoy.

When your bung fell in, what stage of fermentation was the beer in? Was the taste noticeable immediately?

I doubt that you will have any problems. The piece, if off a spring clamp, is probably vinyl, not rubber. The gaskets in most weldless fittings are silicone not rubber.

RDWHAHB!

Yes, it's from a spring clamp. So it's vinyl, huh? I'm sure there are lots of different types, but lots of tubing is made from vinyl, right? & when I finally got it out, there weren't any sings of melting or anything.

I'm basically trying to talk myself into believing that the beer is fine, here, haha :D

No matter what, you're gonna think you taste rubber in that beer. I recommend you pour a beer for a buddy or three without saying anything and see what his/her reaction is. If they say they taste rubber it's real. If they say nothing ask them if they detect any off flavors. If they do, ask them to describe the off flavor. If again they don't say 'rubber' then just come out and ask do they taste rubber. If not you're good. The power of suggestion is very strong. If someone other than yourself doesn't taste it, you can rest assured it's not there.

The beer was in the secondary, a buddy was over that day and helping me, the bung was pushed in so much to the neck, I couldn't get it out. I ended up trashing the carboy actually.

Yet, different to you, that bung was in therefor a couple of days, really sad stuff, but I've spent more money on dumber things so....brew on.
