Round cooler mash tun bag

I have a Rubbermaid/Home Depot 10 gallon round cooler as a mash tun, it has a screw on lid. I bought a bag for it (http://www.brewinabag.com/collections/frontpage/products/the-brew-bag-for-coolers) and I have a dumb question. With the bag hanging over the outer edges of the cooler, will the screw on lid cause any damage to the bag?

After you fill the MT with water, then grain and stir like a mama, I would just flop the top part of the bag into the MT and screw the lid on like normal. As long as you're not sloshing the MT around, the bag top will just there until you open her back up and pull the bag top back over the outside of the MT.
