Rosebud Christmas Wit

I am racking a william's Christmas wot from the primary to the secondary fermenter this weekend. I thinking about getting some rosebuds and petals to put in the wort (sanitized of course) for some extra flavor. Any ideas on if this is a good or bad idea? Recommendations?
