Trying to come up with a recipe. This is what I have so far. Not sure if I should go with American or UK hops
12 lbs Maris Otter
1.25 chocolate malt
.75 c60
Wlp002
If I go with American
1 oz Cluster @60
1 oz cluster @30
1 oz cascade @5
UK
1.5 oz fuggle @60
1 oz EKG @15
.5 oz fuggle @15
Not locked in on that grain bill. Let know what you think. Thanks

In general I'm not crazy about citrusy finishing hops like cascade in browns and porters even when using American yeast, but some folks like them so I guess you could go either way. I'd probably swap out about .25-0.5 lb of the chocolate for black malt.

I'd remove half a pound of chocolate malt and add a pound of brown malt. EKG and Cluster mix very well together as do EKG and Cascade so you don't have to go one way or the other.

I second switching out some of the chocolate for black patent or even roasted barley. Either are common in a robust porter. Maybe just 2oz for a five gallon batch.
