I store RO water in plastic containers, Before using the containers should I run some Star San in it to santitize or will it ruin the RO Ph?

I store water in water packs as a more economically friendly alternative to buying jugs of water and have only cleaned them out initially. There isn’t much of anything in RO water that bad things can thrive on. Just make sure to never store anything but your clean RO water in them.

I agree with ^^. Pre-mash water should not need to be stored in a sanitized container; clean should be good enough. I'm not a water chemist but I suspect a 60-minute boil will kill more baddies than Star-San!

You didn't mention how long it would be stored. If I store RO in my kettle for more than 3-4 days, it does start picking up a little mildew smell. While it wouldn't survive the boil, I do have concerns about flavor contribution.
