Hi, took a couple years off brewing extract. Now starting again with a Russian Imperial Stout. Have a couple questions if you don't mind...

OG is supposed to be around 1.092. Mine was 1.082. It's been 10 days and now it's at 1.018. When I saw that I was thrilled but then I tasted it and don't think it's quite ready. Tasted a little green but I did a pretty good temp control. I have it sitting in my cold garage in a bucket of water with an aquarium heater keeping it between 66-68F. My question in does this big beer need more time in primary even though the gravity seems to have been met? I don't really want to do a secondary, so will keeping it on the trub do it harm?

Also I'm planning to buy kegging equipment and a fridge/or chest freezer once I find a good deal, just haven't found one yet. Can I leave it for 2-3 more weeks in primary? Any help is appreciated and can't wait to get back at it! Thanks!

10 days in primary. I figure it's still young yet but the recipe said 10-20 days. Just wanting confirmation I'm on the right path I guess! Am getting a little excited...
