The "simple" act of walking is very commonplace on the Earth; but when Neil Armstrong did it on the Moon, it was truly THE CROWNING ACHEIVEMENT of 2 million years of human evolution & technological advancement. While it took many, many individuals to make it happen, Neil Armstrong was the one who actually did it for the 1st time, he was the focal point. His words & deeds were forever immortalized: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Rest in peace.
