And if you're looking to get rid of some trees I've got a couple of chainsaws and a buddy with a wood stove and always lookin' for some wood.*

You know how to get to my place. You're welcome to whatever you want, just no taking the split stuff till the unsplit stuff is all gone. (Yes I cut and split about a cord of it for the exersize, I don't have a woodstove and Bertha doesn't need more than 15 - 20 pieces to cook a whole hog.)

thats AWESOME!!!!! i'm getting my plans converted into cnc templates (for a 17 ft 'rowboat').

Stop, stop! You're keeling me!

Hey, does anyone know of a bike that I can cut up to use (the back half of it) on my trainer?

(Just like my grain mill, but I'm NOT going to cut the rear spokes off, leaving just the cartridge....)

Could someone please explain to me how my f'ing POS iPhone shows that I rode 10.75 miles one way and it took me 11.23 miles to cover the exact same stretch of road home?

Oh well, I did somewhere around 22 miles in 88 minutes. A sort of respectable 15ish MPH. Not too bad for a fat guy.

In retrospect, I need to get a bit of perspective.

If I had started at Hopkington this morning I would have come round the clubhouse turn on Comm Ave just slightly ahead of some skinny mother-f'er who was promised a Quarter Pounder with Cheese if he gave a good showing.

I have my parents for giving me these fat genes.

Hate to thwart your plans but ...

Why? Why not just put your bike on the trainer?

And on that note, I'm off for a ride. I'd like to get 30 in this afternoon.

'cause then I'd have to sit on top of a bike.

i left only the back triangle, and turned it upside down then put it in the trainer. now i can sit in my office chair and grind grain while watching a movie.

no, that hasn't been spoke-en for.
But if your arse is hurtin', I'll refrain from asking.

(And no more intibating references).

sorry i didnt get over there in the rain. And I'm stuck getting ready for the Miss Saigon show that starts rehersals tomorrow (my emboucher aint'nt ready no-how.)

Steve hasn't played trombone in a DECADE, and was convinced he could play this dang show - 2 hours a night, LOUD!
um, why do I get these sharp, spikey pains in my chops?? (DUH!)

damn, the girls look cute on stage in their underwear. I'd buy a bike mirror and clamp it on my horn, but I'd miss a whole lotta notes.

ok, I missed THAT one while I was writing it!

(although if I'm clamping on a bike mirror, it's not because it's EASY ... more the opposite!)

New bike day for the family! Bean and I finally got some new rides. Not a prayer in hell I'll be venturing across the state, but looking forward to getting some miles under me.

I went out for the first time in probably a decade last weekend. Not sure how long the round trip was - maybe 10 miles? - but the first couple miles were almost straigh uphill, going up the mountain.

FELT LIKE I WAS DYING. I'm pretty sure I could taste my lungs bleeding. Could almost hear them screaming, two muffled little voices from inside my chest, "WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS SH*T?!?!"

In other words, I'm out of shape.

Best part of going up is the going down after.

I actually rode tonight! I did 8.4 miles before dinner, then a 17.8 miler late night. Woohoo!
