AnOldUR: the competition was hastily organized this year, so as Kirk said it has a very limited size. Next year, we're hoping that it will be a full-blown BJCP sponsored competition. It is a real shame that the organizers didn't contact Mark sooner because the prizes are ridiculous (Top prize $1000 cash!) He would certainly have made this a much bigger event.
On the whole though, this is a large beer event. There are a ton of commercial breweries involved along with local restaurants. Should be a good time. Unfortunately because of other things going on I couldn't participate in the contest. Maybe next year! See you there Kirk and good luck.
