Rice Solids

Is one pound of rice solids equal to a pound rice extract. Going to brew an American Light Ale and LHBS doesn't have extract. Curious if any one has used the solids?

Are you mashing? If so, you can use minute rice and just add it to the mash.

I can't help with your direct question, I'm not even sure what rice solids are.
