Good morning. I am currently looking for some inexpensive retired kegs (15.5 gal SS) to convert into keggles in the eastern Mass area. If anyone has any idea where to find some it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Good Luck. I've been looking for over 2 years...made tons of calls and emails to area breweries and so far struck out. There's a guy in NH that sells them on ebay/craigslist but still not sure where he obtains his and I don't want to buy if they were possibly obtained illegally so think I have decided to punt on this quest and just buy 20 Gallon Kettles.

Quaboagbrewing,
Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully something pops up.

I have two legal keggles for sale since I upgraded to 20 gallon vessels. I bought them precut (12" opening in the top) with connections for ball valves welded in from Sabco. I don't have pics, but could take some over the weekend. I'm near Baltimore, so would have to ship.

One is set up as a mash tun with a false bottom. The other one is a boil kettle. I'd have to give a thought to price, but let me know if you are interested.
