I just got some new equipment for cheese making but have some older rennet. It is liquid rennet I got from a local farm in May. I was wondering, how long does this rennet usually last? I have been keeping it in the fridge.

I use animal rennet and it will keep in the fridge for 12 months

It will keep in a fridge for more than 12 months for consumer standards there has to b a date on it

Thanks for the info. Yeh, around here the Amish are sometimes not so much about putting dates on things.
