Removing Wax

How do you remove the wax used to seal the cap from your bottles?

If its not easy to peel, i would say just take a sharp object and peel it off.

If cold, I peel it off. Or run under hotwater. Softens it and I wipe it off with a paper towel.

If you get a scraper meant for cleaning ceramic stove tops, they do wonders for peeling labels or wax from bottles (or corny kegs, whatever)... Basically a retractable razorblade.
