Ok, the neighbors downstairs had a party on thanksgiving and managed to fill the recycle bin completely full of corona bottles. I snagged three dozen or so and would like to strip off the painted on labels so I can re-use them for my upcoming batch of hard cherry lemonade.

What would be the best way to do this? I was thinking of just soaking them one by one in methyl-ethyl-keytone but that would take forever and I'd end up inhaling a crap ton of fumes.

oh heck yes! Go starsan!

Edit: Two days in the solution and they can be taken off with steel wool easily.
