On an SPST relay does the voltage rating on the load side matter if both relays are 12V coils with 30A load ratings?

I am trying to find a short term substitute for a bad 30A - 250V 12VDC coil relay. I think I can use a 12VDC coil 30A automotive relay without too much issue. Thoughts?

No, do not use a automotive relay. They are designed for 12Vdc on the load side, not 240Vac. That relay will crap itself if you use it.

Yeah I did some research and relays for 12VDC load side can generally interchange with 120. Most of the 240VAC rated relays appeared to be capable of 24V DC.
