I've just decide to start kegging my brew. I found a local guy who sells used ball lock kegs for $35. They aren't in terrible shape, but need to be cleaned. I was also planning to replace gaskets and popits if needed. I also found a mini frig at costco for $150 which looks like it will fit 2 kegs. I was considering buying this Taprite Dual Body CO2 Regulator model T752HP.

I like the idea of being able to have two different pressures coming from one tank. It says that the Regulator comes with built in gasket, also comes with an optional 1/4 barb on/off ball valve.

Is the 1/4" on/off ball valve too small? I assumed that they meant 1/4 inch because they didn't say.

Your thoughts on the valve and pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

i was told yesterday that 1/4 is for soda and 5/16 is for beer. I suppose either would work.
