I have a dual regulator system and i have one keg carbing right now and i used the second regulator today to force some sanitizer through a keg and lines. I closed the valve and disconnected when i was done. I hit the relief pin on the regular to zero out the pin.

But, I keep checking and the guage pin keeps showing pressure and i have to keep pulling the pin to zero it out. what is going on here?

I know i've seen this somewhere on the forums but i cant find the thread

I have exactly the same problem with mine. A few months ago this happened and I opened up the regulator and cleaned the rubber diaphram inside and it seemed to be fixed. Now the pressure is just unregulated to the low side. I think it takes replacing the diaphram inside.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

It's a brand new regulator. I put another keg on the second regulator to carb up. Does this sound like a leak? the guage did not show anything until I used it for the first time.

It's the midwest supplies dual regulator.

There's been a spat of bad regulators the last year. Most of the time, cleaning them does the trick.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with midwest. It is indeed defective. They're testing out a new one for me and shipping a replacement.
