...Just before the biggest travel weekend of the year. All speculative bubbles burst.

The bad news is, with a high in the 30's, I can't run the boat.

You know what really pisses me off about our prices.

We drill/refine/sell here locally and its still more expensive.

Orfy, You need to look into cheaper transportation then you would have more $$$.$$ for beer.

Commodities will be on the rise again soon, I suspect. Enjoy the low gas prices while you can. It won't last.

Lamenting 'free market'?

Ever since the Repub Congress passed the law to allow energy speculation (seeing how much could be made in the California electrical market), gas has been in a bubble that just recently burst, known as the Enron Loophole.

Another Bush Era Legacy. How's the retirement account coming along?

$1.51 Friday, barrel of oil at $44.

From Tesoros website

Product slate:
Gasoline, gasoline blendstocks, jet fuel, diesel fuel, heating oil, heavy fuel oils, marine diesel fuels, propane, and asphalt

We are paying 1.46 here for gas... and my retirement fund is POPPIN! $20k recently bought me shares of some of my fav mutuals at HALF of thier value this time last year... this is a great time to be an active investor... BAD time to be looking at retiring. In 30 years when I can retire, I suppose the market will have made up its losses.
