So i'm in the midst of fermenting for my first home brew, a pale ale...used a liquid wyeast activator and got healthy bubbling for the first few days. i'm eventually going to put the beer into a 5 gallon corny keg, which is where the problem comes in. i don't have a kegerator yet and my wife isn't thrilled with the idea of taking several shelves out of the fridges to keep the beer cold. i know i can put the keg in a bucket of ice which will keep it cold. is there any damage that can be done from letting the beer get cold, warm up to room temperature, and then icing it again in the future?
