Hey,

Trying out my first recipe. Any suggestions?

8# Amber LME
1/2# Cara-Pils
1/2# Belgian Biscuit
1/2# Crystal Malt 60

Cascade 1 ounce 60 min 7.6 AA

Cascade 1 ounce 30 min 7.6 AA

Cascade 1 ounce 5 min 7.6 AA

Used beer calc on hopville and according to it I should get 13 SRM and 33 IBUs.

Thank you

Looks like a tasty pale ale.

Personally, I would add the second addition of Cascade at 10 or 15 mins. I'm a big fan of flavour and aroma hopping. Hit it with some dry hops too!

Good luck! :mug:

Brewed this a while ago. It spent 2 weeks in the primary and two in the secondary. Kegged it last weekend (first time kegging) and tried it today. Turned out pretty tasty. Gonna be great for the super bowl party this weekend.
