Hey all, we buy base malts in bulk and plan recipes based on those, adding the necessary special malts and hops to the purchase.

Need to plan the last recipe with what will be left after the first ones, so wanted some input from the more experienced!

Goal: This will be some kind of Porter or Stout I think, would like it to be malt forward, while not being overly sweet or overly bitter. Not going for too much roasted flavour as we don't fancy it all that much, a little bit is fine though.

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: I can use either WLP002 or lager it with WLP830, which one would you pick?
Batch Size (Gallons): 14gal
Original Gravity: 1.082
IBU: 38.1
Color: 32.7 SRM

Malt Bill
Leftovers(would want to keep those as is):
42% Vienna Malt (3.9 SRM)
36.2% Munich II (12.2 SRM)
9.3% Flaked Barley (1.7 SRM)
1.9% Carafa I (451.8 SRM)
1.2% Carafa III (675.1 SRM)
Buying(room for change):
4.7% Flaked Oats (1.4 SRM)
2.3% Special W (137.1 SRM)
2.3% Caramunich III (71.1 SRM)

Hop Additions

60g Fuggles (4.9%) 15min
