Hello,

I was looking for a recipe to brew a hoppy red lager. Old forge brewing company where I'm located has a beer called "cheer" and I was looking to clone it. I was thinking about trying the clown shoes swagger (thinking that might be the closest) but I could not find an extract recipe, only all grain. Has anybody here ever brewed a hopped red lager before extract version? If so, would you might sharing your recipe?

Thanks!

Since no one is replying, maybe you could post the all grain recipe you found and folks will help you convert it.

Try posting your question on the Recipes/Ingredients forum on this website. It tends to be much more active.

I've never done a hoppy red lager but perhaps start with a recipe for an Irish Red and modify it from there
