Hi all,
Looking for some feedback on a recipe I'm working on. This will be only my second all-grain brew. This is an English pale ale. I will mash 1 hour (one-step) at 150 with 3.75 gallons of water. I have researched my water profile and all I plan to do is dechlorinate.

8 lb Golden Promise
8 oz Honey malt
8 oz Crystal 20
1 Lb Lyle's Golden Syrup
I plan to mash hop 1 oz of Fuggles, mostly because to see what happens.

60 min: 1 oz Fuggles, 1 oz EKG
40 min: 1 oz Fuggles
20 min: Irish Moss

I plan to reuse WLP 005 from the batch I have in primary now.

Any thoughts? Advice?
I read that the syrup may lightens body. Should I consider 'upping' to crystal 40? I don't want it to be too dark (ideal srm is 6.3ish). I used Beer Smith to create this recipe, but golden promise is not in there is my calculations are based on Maris otter, which I think is the closest comparable malt.
