Rebuild Corney's and the Poppet

I am rebuilding my Kegs and came across a "Universal" Poppet for a few dollars less per. Like 4-5 bucks per. x's 6 So...

Note* The old have a 3 pronged bottom and the Universal are just a spring end, anybody use them and have good luck?

I have used them extensively and they work wonderfully.

Check the pressure on the spring. I usually cut off 1/2 of a turn of spring at bottom! Otherwise .... Great!!

I will have to double check, but I think I have used the universal. I thought the same thing. But if I am correct The Spring fits In the hole. With my pin lock kegs the poppit does stand proud an 8th inch from the surface of the fitting. Essentially it sticks out a little.

Thanks Y'all appreciate it. Gettin Nickeled and Dimed to death trying to revamp this kegerator. LOL! But should be nice and tight when I'm done. 450. for a 3 keg, 20lb C02 dual regulator on casters with 3 taps and a lil' drip tray to boot. She aint that pretty, but she should work pretty good. She sure looks prettier by the end of the eve tho....
