Hi, all.

I'm going to be making a Belgian in a few weeks, and a buddy of mine has access to a ton of 75cl Chimay bottles (the bigger ones). I have a capper, but not a corker, and don't want to buy one. Does anyone know if it is possible to cap these things with the larger 29mm bottle caps? I know I'll need a larger bell for my capper.

Thanks...

I know this thread was from years ago, but I am finding myself in the same predicament. I have a triple Karmeliet clone ready to bottle soon. I have the 75cl bottles (La choufe, which were capped). Must be place online to purchase the larger caps. Any luck on your end?

I found the 29mm caps at several of the larger online homebrew retailers (ie. Austin, etc.). Make sure you have the larger bell to put on your capper as well.
